We work in tackling youth unemployment and workforce productive skills gap yet to be well leveraged in most of the African countries including Tanzania.
As an effort in contributing to the achievement of the United Nations Goal number 8 and Tanzania’s ambition to be a middle income country, we are dedicated in providing competitive technical and soft skills training for youth by responding to the productive skills in demand in the job market.
This is the strategic service in forecasting the future by creating it. We are concentrating in running a capable private Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) centre that will ensure a continuous learning culture and accelerate innovation and self employment.
Our center provides customized HR solutions in all major sectors including candidates search and placement, manpower outsourcing, payroll management and general advisory services for organizations’ health depending on the client’s need and situation in hand.
Through our center we connect employees with employers in a manner that both parties’ expectations are met.
In one hand through our Cluster Management Model we assist companies to comply with local content requirements as per Tanzanian Local Content Law and Policy. We facilitate organizations in developing Local Content Plan in line with local content objectives focusing on Project Execution Strategy, market assessment and requirements of applicable local content regulations, Identify in-country contractors which could be relevant for the company operations, coordinate integration of Local Content requirements in the project contractual strategy and control its implementation down the supply chain. Yet we assist companies in local content advocacy issues, documenting milestones in this area for visibility and prepare a report for respective authorities.
On the other hand, we interface Government and general community in providing Technical Assistance in the implementation of linkage and capacity building programs validated in creating inclusive economic growth and participation of local community in various sectors. African Crown’s program covers the existing supply chain gap by mapping and upgrading the local suppliers to meet several international standards and be able to compete in the global supply chain.
Specifically we act as a platform for local business to be mapped, strengthened and connected with investors and their subcontractors to be able to provide local goods and services such as recruitment & training, technology transfers etc.
This initiative builds youth and women’s business skills for scaling up while incubating start-ups. At the same time,we act as guide to investors in Tanzania’s exciting venture capital space. We take an active role in supporting businesses to ensure their continued success.
African Crown gives special attention in post harvest handling where we are committed in value additional for agricultural products. For a start we are processing cereal legumes, fruits, sesame, coconuts and vegetables.
We run two ventures being textile and wine bottles up cycling where we design and locally manufacture fashionable attire for both local purchase and exportation, currently we are specified on women, children clothes and interior décor accessories.
In Up cycling line it is our desire to create sustainable and profitable business by turning wine bottles into beautiful decors in which we are support unemployed women in our community by creating employment.
